A health companion that knows your family.

Ayumitra keeps each person’s reports, medicines, vaccines and appointments, and the readings their phone and watch record, on your phone. Ask anything in plain words and see where every answer came from.

Meera’s blood test report, her prescription, and this week’s morning blood sugars from her meter, which came in through Health Connect. Ayumitra’s answer to “Is her sugar better than in June?”: yes, her HbA1c fell from 7.4% in June to 6.8% on 12 October, and her morning readings this week stayed between 96 and 118 mg/dL. One citation points to the HbA1c line of the report, the other to the week’s readings.

Watch it work

Four things Ayumitra does every day, shown with sample records.

Reads a report from a photo

Photograph a lab report or add a PDF. It’s read on the phone, with each value, unit and date kept.

Answers with the source

Ask in plain words. It says what it understood, shows each step, and the answer points to the report it came from.

Turns a prescription into reminders

The course and its dose times are read from the photo. Nothing is added until you check it and say so.

Puts warning signs first

When something sounds urgent, the app’s own check shows what to do and your local emergency number before any answer.

Readings come in by themselves

Import once from Health Connect or Apple Health, and new readings from the phone, the watch and the meters you already use keep coming into the right person’s record: blood pressure, blood sugar, oxygen, weight, temperature, heart rate, steps and sleep.

Meera’s day so far, as Ayumitra keeps it, checked for new readings 4 minutes ago. Sleep from her watch, 11:10 pm to 6:40 am, 7 hours 10 minutes. Heart rate from her watch, each hour’s lowest and highest, 52 to 118 today. Blood pressure 134/85 at 9:05 pm yesterday, told in chat, and 126/80 at 7:50 am from her blood pressure monitor. Blood sugar 104 at 7:20 am and 142 at 1:45 pm from her meter. Steps, 6,412 so far today, Health Connect’s total for the day.

It keeps checking

While Ayumitra is open, it looks for new readings by itself. On Android it can also check about once an hour while it’s closed, if you allow it in Health Connect.

Named, and never twice

Each reading says which app recorded it, and one app’s same reading is kept once. A night two apps both recorded shows under each, and counts once.

Into the right person

Readings go into the profile you choose and are read on the phone only. Nothing is written back. Picked the wrong person? Undo takes the import back.

One record for each person in the family

Add a profile for each person. Their records, reminders and answers stay apart.

Photograph a prescription and the course and its reminders are set up for you to check.

Ask in your own words, in your own language

The whole app comes in English, हिन्दी, Deutsch, Français, Español and Nederlands: its screens, its reminders and its answers. Ask in any of them and the answer comes back in the same language. You can also speak your question in English.

  • EnglishWhen is her next vaccine due?
  • Hindiक्या उसका बुखार उतर रहा है?
  • GermanWas hat die Ärztin im März verschrieben?
  • DutchIs mijn bloeddruk deze maand hoger?
  • FrenchQue dit la dernière prise de sang ?
  • Spanish¿Cuándo empezó su tos?

It says what it understood

The first step says what it took your question to mean. If it can’t tell, it asks you one short question instead of guessing.

A source for every answer

You see each step as it works, and each answer points to the report, reading or conversation it came from. Tap it to open the report at that line.

Warning signs come first

If something you describe needs urgent care, the app says so before the answer, with the number to call. That check is built into the app, not left to the AI.

Wherever you are

Each person has their own suitcase: while they travel, the emergency numbers shown for them are the country’s they’re in, with WHO’s and CDC’s health advice for it.

Your records are yours to control

There’s no account and no Ayumitra server holding your health records. In practice:

  • Stored on your phone, encrypted

Records, photos and conversations are kept in an encrypted vault on the phone.

  • Read on your phone

The AI that reads reports and answers questions runs on the phone itself, and works without a connection.

  • Health data stays on the phone

Health Connect and Apple Health are read on the phone, into the profile you choose. Nothing is written back to them.

  • Cloud only if you choose

You can use OpenAI, Anthropic or OpenRouter with your own key. It stays off until you agree and turn it on, and names are swapped before anything is sent.

  • See what was sent

With a cloud model on, Settings shows the exact text sent this session, with the app’s own check that no family name left the phone.

  • Shared only between your phones

A child’s record shared with the other parent goes straight from phone to phone on your Wi‑Fi, encrypted. Chats are never shared.

  • Backups only you can open

Backups are encrypted with six words that only you keep. Without them nobody can open a backup, including us.

  • Delete anything

Delete a report, a conversation, a person or everything. What a conversation taught Ayumitra goes with it.

  • No ads, trackers or account

The app has no advertising, analytics or crash reporting. This website sets no cookies and loads nothing from other servers.

Why we made Ayumitra

When our son was born, we needed an AI-powered app for his health: one place for his records that could also help us understand them.

We found none that kept a health record and also offered total privacy and data protection. So we built one ourselves.

Ayumitra is that app, now for your family too.

What Ayumitra isn’t

  • A doctor. It explains your records and helps you prepare for visits. It doesn’t diagnose or treat, and it isn’t a medical device.
  • A source of children’s doses. For a child it never gives a dose; it says to check the label or ask a doctor or pharmacist.
  • An emergency service. If someone is seriously unwell, call your local emergency number.

Free, with every feature

No feature will ever be paywalled. All we’ll ever sell is the managed service below and, later, an AI model trained for Ayumitra. Nothing else.

Because the AI runs on the phone, it needs a recent one: an Android phone with 8 GB of memory or an iPhone with 6 GB, and about 12 GB free. The model, about 2.6 GB, downloads over Wi‑Fi the first time. On other phones Ayumitra can use a cloud model of your choice instead, and soon Ayumitra Pro.
